Anne ‘Eddo’ Edmonds is one of Australia's most exciting stand-up, character and banjo-playing comedians. Since bursting onto the scene in 2010, she has brought her exquisitely incisive characters, songs and worldview to TV (Have You Been Paying Attention?, Dirty Laundry Live, It's A Date, Wednesday Night Fever), to clubs and to comedy festivals around Australia and all over the world.
After a sold-out season and a prestigious peer award win at MICF and supporting US podcast and comedy superstar Marc Maron on his Australian tour in 2015, Anne took her show, You Know What I'm Like, to London’s Soho Theatre in January 2016. She toured her Barry-nominated show – That’s Eddotainment – around Australia, stole the show in ABC’s Fancy Boy and won the 2016 MICF Director's Choice Award in with the True Australian Patriots.
Eddo’s new live show, No Offence, None Taken is coming to a festival near you, and The Edge of the Bush, the series she created, wrote and stars in for ABC and iView, will debut later in 2017.

Having burst onto the comedy scene in 2010 as a national finalist in Raw Comedy, Anne has performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival (where she was nominated for Best Emerging Comedy Talent), the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Seattle International Comedy Competition and the New York Comedy Festival – and was voted Spleen “Comic of the Year” by her fellow comedians in 2014.
In 2015 she starred on Network Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention?, ABC’s Dirty Laundry Live and supported US podcast and comedy superstar Marc Maron on his Australian tour.

She returned to Australia and toured her new show That’s Eddotainment, which was nominated for the Barry Award at the 2016 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. That’s Eddotainment was also chosen to be recorded for the ABC2 Next Gen series of comedy specials., to be broadcast late in 2016.
Anne is also a member of the “True Australian Patriots” - as seen on their incendiary Facebook page, on The Weekly with Charlie Pickering and most recently smashing up the Brisbane and Sydney Comedy Festivals, and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, where it was awarded the Director’s Choice Award.
In 2016, Eddo has created, written and starred in her own show for ABC iView, The Edge Of The Bush. She also continues to make appearances on Have You Been Paying Attention?, features in the upcoming ABC show Fancy Boy and is one of the voices in the new Australian version of cult US Adult Swim show Fish Centre.
The future is here, and it’s Eddo!
