"Hills delivers stand up so effortlessly brilliant you wonder why some comedians even get out of bed." The Guardian, London

Australians will best know Adam as the host of the fun music quiz show Spicks and Specks on ABC-TV, alongside team captains Alan Brough and Myf Warhurst. Adam’s playful personality, which has taken him to the top of the international comedy circuit, has translated seamlessly to his hosting role on the small screen, making him one of the most recognisable faces on Australian TV.

On Spicks and Specks, Adam is seen by more than 1.2 million people on a weekly basis. He also spends six months of each year working overseas on the international festival circuit, including the Edinburgh Fringe, Kilkenny Comedy Festival and Montreal's much lauded festival, Just For Laughs. He has collected rave reviews worldwide, and a legion of fans across Australia, Great Britain, Ireland and Europe.

"If you cannot enjoy Adam Hills you cannot have a pulse. Four Stars" The Scotsman

Adam has also bagged a swag of awards in recent years including a Helpmann Award in 2007. He has been a three-time nominee for the prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe, where he also won the Best of The Fest Award and the Forth Fringe Award. Adam released his second DVD, Adam Hills Live - Joymonger and Characterful in 2008, the highlights of which were also broadcast on ABC as an hour-long special.

"Hills's wit is incisively dry and sharp and his observations are bitingly precise." Sunday Herald Sun

In early 2008, the success of Spicks and Specks had elevated to a whole new level – hitting the stage for a national-wide live tour, thrilling thousands of Australian fans, who got to participate in the show and come face-to-face with Adam, Alan and Myf.

Adam also had the incredible privilege of co-hosting the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.

Adam doesn’t show any sign of slowing down in 2009, touring nationally with his latest show, Inflatable, an all-new hour-and-a-bit of world-class stand up comedy and rampant spontaneity.
