Tom Ballard has capped off an exceptional Australian festival run by taking home the Best of the Fest (Local) award at the Sydney Comedy Festival for his show Problematic.

Tackling everything from PC, outrage culture and race relations, Problematic is, in Ballard’s own words, “A funny show about whether anything can be funny anymore.”

Evolving from a work in progress show at the Perth Fringe Festival, Problematic scored critical acclaim throughout runs at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Brisbane Comedy Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Ballard will now take Problematic to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August. All details can be found here.
