In exciting news, we’re pleased to announce that Token’s David Woodhead will be the new host of Weekday Lunch on triple j in 2020.

David is one of a number of new presenters joining the station next year, and will be taking the reins of Lunch from departing host Gen Fricker. You may have heard David co-hosting triple j Breakfast with Steph Tisdell for NAIDOC Week in July 2019, and since then he’s been a regular middawn and weekend lunch fill-in host.

David said when finding out about his new gig, “I’m looking forward to joining the triple j fam, spinning the best tunes and playing ‘Treaty’ by Yothu Yindi at every possible opportunity”.
