Kate Dolan is an award-winning comedian from the Midlands whose star is rapidly rising both in the UK and internationally.

Kate’s debut show, A Different Kind of Unhinged, has cemented her reputation as a comedic force, winning the Emerging Artist Award at the Adelaide Fringe 2024.

Her second show, The Critic, won the 2025 Golden Gibbo Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, awarded to the best independent local artist. Kate is the first British winner. It transferred to the Edinburgh Fringe where she received the Skinny-Fest “Besties” Breakthrough Award 2025.

Her third show ‘Trout’ won the Director’s Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2026.

Kate’s notable appearances include the BBC New Comedy Awards (BBC), Sydney Comedy Festival Gala, Sydney Comedy Festival Fresh Artist Showcase, Best of the Fest: New Class (UK) and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.

Other accolades include: 2019 Funny Women Regional Finalist, 2023 RAW Comedy State Finalist, 2023 Joke Off Finalist, 2023 Funny Women Content Creator Finalist.

Kate also co-hosts the podcast Becoming Best Friends with acclaimed comedian Danielle Walker, and is the creator and star of the Grouse House TV YouTube series ‘History Untold’.
