Dilruk Jayasinha is one of the most beloved and in demand comedians in Australia.
After moving from Sri Lanka to Melbourne to attend university, Dil completed a degree in accounting and started working for one of the “Big Four.” However, after being let go and then performing at an open mic night in 2010, that all changed.
His style of personal, upbeat and effervescent stand up is renowned for providing audiences with glimpses into his life. Highly relatable and introspective, his ability to charm a crowd is second to none.
On top of selling out his stand-up shows around the country, he is a welcome regular on TV and radio – appearing on our most loved shows such as Utopia, MasterChef Australia, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Spicks & Spicks and Have You Been Paying Attention?. You’d be hard pressed not to be familiar with his wit, charisma, and honesty.
He has performed stand up on numerous Melbourne International Comedy Festival Galas and Just For Laughs, hosted the RAW Comedy Final on SBS and recorded his own special (Bundle Of Joy) for Prime Video in 2020, available worldwide.
In 2018, Dilruk received the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent at The TV Week Logie Awards and in 2022, he suffered a heart attack. Both were life changing.

Testimonials:
“Dilruk performed at our Brisbane Lions Grand Final Brunch and was an absolute hit with all the guests and staff. This is an annual event we run, and many guests came to us later to tell us it was the best performer they’ve seen. The room was in stitches at every joke, and Dilruk knew exactly what to say to our crowd to get them involved, excited and laughing.”
Brisbane Lions Grand Final Brunch
“Dilruk’s performance was delightful. He engaged with the audience well, kept the comedy relevant and worked with what the audience responded too. He had us all laughing the whole time. I would strongly recommend Dilruk for another corporate event.”
