Award-winning funny person Hannah Gadsby has announced two new comedy specials with Netflix; an hour-long comedy special ‘Body Of Work’ plus a comedy special produced and hosted by Hannah that will feature six new gender-diverse comedians from around the world.

Body Of Work will be Hannah’s third stand up special on Netflix, following on from the ground-breaking Nanette and Douglas, and is being filmed by Guesswork Television in Sydney as part of the world tour.

The second special that showcases gender-diverse performers will be coupled with a mentorship initiative for the up-and-coming artists offering professional development as explained by Hannah:

“In an effort to further open a door that I had to fight to get through myself, I will curate and host a line-up show on Netflix featuring six new, gender-diverse comedians. In a notoriously transphobic industry, I am looking to broaden the scope of opportunities for genderqueer performers from around the globe, as well as expand the diversity of offerings to audiences on one of comedy’s biggest platforms.”

The Body Of Work special is set to premiere on Netflix in 2023.
