Token Artists and Guesswork Television have won big at the 2018 Screen Producers Australia Awards.
Now in their 18th year, the awards celebrate Australian screen producers in the categories of film, television and interactive productions.
Rosehaven, created by Celia Pacquola and Luke McGregor and produced by Guesswork Television, took home Comedy Series Production of the Year.
Wil Anderson’s Gruen won Light Entertainment Series Production of the Year; featuring the voices of Rove McManus and Cal Wilson, Kitty is Not A Cat took the honours for Animation Series Production of the Year; and The Great Australian Bake Off, hosted by Claire Hooper and Mel Buttle, won Reality Series Production of the Year.
Furthermore, Guesswork Television, which in the past 12 months produced Hannah Gadsby’s Nanette, Rosehaven, Tom Gleeson’s Hard Quiz, Corey White’s Roadmap To Paradise, Anne Edmonds’ The Edge of the Bush, The Weekly with Charlie Pickering and Get Krackin’, took home the top gong – Production Business of the Year.
The winners were announced at the prestigious Screen Producers Australia Awards ceremony at The Forum in Melbourne on Thursday 22 November. Congratulations to all!
