Sarah Kendall has taken home another prestigious UK Writers’ Guild Award in the category of Best Radio Comedy for Seventy-Three Seconds, part one of her Australian Trilogy Volume 2.
This is the second year in a row that Sarah has won the award. Last year, A Day In October from the first volume of Australian Trilogy, took home the prize. Other winners on the night included Phoebe Waller-Bridge for Killing Eve and Mackenzie Crook for The Detectorists. Overall, women enjoyed a strong showing at the Writers’ Guild Awards, scooping nine of the 16 prizes.
Sarah only recently wrapped filming on Frayed, a series she created and wrote, produced by Merman Television in association with Guesswork Television.
Frayed will air in 2019 on ABC in Australia and on Sky streaming service NOW TV in the UK. Sky Vision will distribute Frayed internationally.
Congratulations Sarah!
