The 2025 AACTA Industry Awards Gala kicked off a five day Festival of the Australian screen industry last night and we’re thrilled to announce that Token Artist Tom Gleeson has taken home the AACTA Award for Best Comedy Performer for Hard Quiz. Spicks and Specks hosted by Token Artist Adam Hills also won the AACTA Award for Best Entertainment Program.

Additional winners will be announced at the 2025 AACTA Awards Ceremony on Friday 7 February, this event will be broadcast in Australia on Channel Ten at 7.30pm AEDT that evening.

Nominee’s for Best Stand-Up Special include Anne Edmonds (Why is My Bag All Wet) Lloyd Langford (Current Mood), Mel Buttle (Let Me Know Either Way) and Rove McManus (Loosey Goosey).

The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, and Hard Quiz are also nominated for Best Comedy Entertainment Program.
