Taunts and Hingers are officially on the desk of The Project for 2023!

Sam Taunton and Michael Hing have both been popping up behind the desk over the last few years, and now the familiar faces are joining full time.

Sam will be joining Sarah Harris and Waleed Aly Monday to Thursday, while Michael Hing takes the seat on Friday and Sunday along side Hamish MacDonald and Georgie Tunny.

When asked if they were excited, Sam responded – “Nervous mainly because they’re handing down Carrie’s wardrobe to me and I’m not sure I can pull it off. It’s a fresh cast and we’re all looking forward to creating something new and energetic that I think people will really respond to. I’m also excited to steal Waleed’s opinions and use them as my own at dinner parties.” Whereas perhaps Hing hasn’t quite kept up with the news… “Honestly, I’m so thrilled to be joining Lisa, Pete and Carrie at The Project and look forward to getting to work with some of the biggest names in television! Wait, what?,”

The Project returns Sunday, January 8, 6.30pm on Network Ten.
