Nath Valvo
Charity: Lifeline
Nath Valvo explodes onto stage with hilariously physical, high-energy comedy – a perfect blend of cheeky charm and witty insights delivered with joyous sass.
A favourite on the Australian comedy scene, Nath’s career skyrocketed after winning the Adelaide Fringe Weekly Best Comedy Award. That same year, his debut show at Edinburgh Fringe scored him a coveted Best Newcomer Nomination as well as praise from UK comedy royalty Graham Norton. His stand-up show I’m Happy For You was nominated for Best Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. In 2023, Nath was invited to perform at the Montreal Comedy Festival, appearing in Mae Martin’s televised gala and hosting the International New Faces show.
Nath is a familiar face on Australian television, hosting Just For Laughs Australia, The Project and The Cheap Seats and appearing on House of Games, Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen, Spicks and Specks, Question Everything, and The 100.
His comedy translates brilliantly to digital platforms – after years of viral Facebook hits (his Triathlon clip alone smashing 5 million views), his official TikTok account has exploded past 7 million views and counting. He also co-hosts the hit podcast The Buck Up with Kate Langbroek, which recorded a live episode at the Just For Laughs Australia at the Sydney Opera House.
Nath’s singular voice and explosive stage presence make him one of Australia’s most exciting stand-up talents.
Nath’s chosen charity, Lifeline, offers 24-hour crisis support for Australians experiencing emotional distress. “My best mate died by suicide when we were 20, and my cousin also a couple of years ago,” Nath said, adding, “It’s the leading cause of death of young people in Australia.”
