2017 Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Hannah Gadsby has completely sold out her season of Nanette at the Sydney Opera House’s Playhouse. 

Announced today, a Concert Hall performance of her award-winning swansong has been added to meet extraordinary demand.

Heartstopping. Electrifying. Powerful. Raw. Beautifully earnest. Fierce. Unflinching. Profound. Hilarious. These are just some of the words that have been used to describe a show which follows Hannah on her journey as she learns to thrive as “not normal”.

Nanette, Hannah’s masterpiece, saw the adored comedian take home ‘the Oscars of live comedy’ when she picked up the 2017 Edinburgh Comedy Award in August. Additionally, she won Australia’s most prestigious comedy award ‘The Barry’ for Best Show at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and the Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performer.
