Belvoir has released its stunning program for 2022, featuring the glorious mind of Token’s Vidya Rajan, adapting the beloved novel Looking For Alibrandi by Melina Marchetta. 

A co-production with Malthouse Theatre, the well-loved story of the Italian-Australian experience across three generations of women will be hitting the Sydney stage from the 1st of October to the 6th of November 2022.

Vidya is a fresh and fearless talent with undeniable range, spanning the stand-up comedy circuit of Melbourn’s alternative scene, to Netflix’s Why Are You Like This, SBS’ The Feed, and the wonderful digital live-streamed half-hour sitcom We are Nemeses which she created and wrote with frequent collaborator Alistair Baldwin.

Led by director Stephen Nicholazzo, Vidya’s adaptation of this classic story has Australians thrilled and excited to have the doors of their theatres back open.
