A number of Token artists have featured in the nominations for the 2017 Screen Producers Australia Awards.
Announced today by Screen Producers Australia, these awards recognise excellence in the categories of film, television and interactive productions.
The final season of Josh Thomas’ Please Like Me has been named as a finalist for best ‘Comedy Series Production’; alongside Celia Pacquola and Luke McGregor’s first season of Rosehaven. Joining them is Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney’s Get Krack!n which has seen appearances from the likes of Anne Edmonds, Danielle Walker and Sam Simmons.
In the category of ‘Light Entertainment Series Production’ Wil Anderson’s Gruen and The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (which stars Tom Gleeson) were both named as finalists; while the Lifestyle Channel’s The Great Australian Bake Off, hosted by Claire Hooper and Mel Buttle, has been nominated in the ‘Reality Series Production’ category.
The winners will be announced at the Screen Producers Australia Awards taking place at The Forum in Melbourne on Thursday 17 November. Congratulations to all our nominated artists!
