The winners of the 2018 AACTA Awards have been announced, with Token artists taking home some of the nights top honours.

Held at The Star Event Centre in Sydney, the ceremony recognises the best in Australian film and television.

The Weekly with Charlie Pickering won the AACTA Award for Best Entertainment Program. This is the second AACTA award for the hit ABC program, which stars fellow Token artist Tom Gleeson and produced by Thinkative TV.

Also taking out a top prize last night was Hannah Gadsby, who received the AACTA Award for Best Performance in a Television Comedy for her critically acclaimed Netflix stand-up special, Nanette.
