Danielle Walker wins Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival

After consistently selling out shows, Danielle Walker has taken home the award for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival with her debut solo hour, Bush Rat.  Originally from Townsville, after just a couple of years gigging she took out the prize in Australia’s biggest open mic competition to be named Raw Comedy National Champion in 2016 and last year was hand-picked to perform in ‘The Comedy Zone’.
